LGPA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam preps for American Century

Golf Annika Sorenstam will return to the stadium in the American Century championship, and she is doing more than just an attempt to win the celebrity golf championship.

Sorenstam, which won 72 Tour LPGA championships, including 10 specializations, during its glossy career, will raise awareness of the Annika Foundation while competing in Edwood Tahoe Golf Club Near Tahoe Lake next month.

The Foundation aims to use the golf game to support young women around the world.

“My institution was about 20 years, and everything related to providing play opportunities, empowering young women and enhancing it through sport,” Sorentam told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. “Various initiatives, championship initiatives, resources, guidance, scholarships, etc., therefore, we have made some clinics in the region, and I invited young girls to participate, it was great.

“We have about 1,000 girls every year, and we have prepared nearly $ 10 million to Golf girls. Wherever you go, I paid the foundation and it was great to get young girls to pick up a club or continue playing.”

Sorenstam said she is looking to play in the championship every year.

It was runner -up with the previous one NHL Jeremy Ruwnik’s star in 2014 when the former midfielder of Mark Ripan won the tournament for the second time.

“Every year I am excited. I try every year. The American Century Championship celebrations will be held from July 9 to 13.

The tournament will collect funds for local and national charities. This event is a form of 54 hugs of Stableford in which golf players win points for each hole based on the result to an equal foot. Golf player, which achieves the largest number of points.
