“I am an old man, I was Catholic all my life. I learned how to choose the Pope. White smoke, black smoke, etc.”, Holtz started his message. “But you never know about the Pope, because it is not infallible. It is infallible when it comes to everything to religious decisions, and we learned to respect him and pray for him and listen to him.

“I hope this Pope is very good, but I know this: It is our Pope. We must defend it, we must encourage it, we must pray for it, and we must help it.”

Holtz trained for 33 years in college with six different programs, the most prominent of which is Notre Dame, as 100-30 went over 11 years with Irish fighting.
