Luis Rubiales guilty of sexual assault and fined €10,000 for kissing Jenni Hermoso at World Cup
Luis Rubiales was fined with more than 10,000 euros ($ 11400) after being convicted of sexual assault by kissing Jenny Hermoso after Spain winning the 2023 Women’s World Cup – but he will not go to prison.
The prosecution requested a one -year prison sentence if the former president of the Spanish Football Association convicted of sexual assault. The ruling issued by the Supreme Court in Spain is prohibited from going 200 meters from Hermoso, and from communicating with her for one year.
