Medical helicopter crash in Mississippi kills 3

Madison Province, Miss – Officials said a medical transport helicopter crashed in Mississippi on Monday, killing a pilot and two hospital workers on the plane.

A spokesman for the Mississippi Medical Center confirmed the death of everyone on the trip. The university said in a previous statement that the air helicopter was not carrying any patients when it was crashed into Madison Province, north of the Jackson capital.

The families of the three victims were notified, but the authorities have not issued names to protect their privacy. The university did not provide a cause of crash.

“It is a tragic reminder of the risks that the respondents take in Mississippi every day to maintain our safety,” said Mississippi Tate Reeves on Facebook. “Our country will not forget the sacrifice of these heroes.”
