The account of the Minister of Government, Lucy Powell X, was hacked to enhance the encrypted currency fraud.

A series of deleted publications is now described on the account of the House of Commons of the “$ HCC” currency as “a digital currency that relies on the power of people to Blockchain”.

The deputy’s office confirmed that her account was hacked on Tuesday morning and said, “Steps were taken quickly to secure the account and remove misleading publications.”

Other public figures include a large number of followers who have been targeted in a similar way by online infiltrators, BBC Nick Robinson.

Some publications from the Powell account, which are verified by the platform and remember the Cabinet website, included a picture of the House of Commons.

Manchester Central’s deputy, who has nearly 70,000 followers over X, has been the leader of the House of Commons since the Labor Party won the authority last summer.

The role is responsible for planning and supervising the government’s legislative program, while also supporting the rights of Backbench deputies.

The X accounts for advertising fraud coins is a common method used by Internet criminals.

Budgets often take accounts using deceptive emails – fraud emails that contain links to web sites that reach the systems or deception of users in sharing their passwords.

Passwords can also be obtained using the leaked information from data violations.

At this point, the Internet criminals takes account and planning their participation in the coded coins in a hurry that can only take two hours to create and launch.

They hope that the prominent and reliable accounts will encourage people to buy some of the non -value coins so that they can earn some money before they are banned and stopped.

Luke Nolan, a senior fellow researcher at Coinshares, a company for the management of digital assets, said that penetration of a Powell account was an example of “Pump and Dump”.

This is the time when the people who created Cryptocoin exaggerate its value, make others invest, then sell their majority shares to get profit, but leaving the currency is of no value.

Mr. Nolan said that there were only 34 transactions on the currency, which would have won about 225 pounds.

“The UK Parliament takes cybersecurity very seriously,” said a spokesman for the House of Commons.

“We advise users – including members – to make them familiar with the dangers and how to manage their digital safety; however, we do not comment on specific details about our cybersecurity policies.”

Fraud at work said that there is an increase in social accounts and e -mail that is penetrated in 2024, with 3,343 reports.

It is recommended to prepare two steps for accounts and use a strong and unique password of three random words.

Earlier this year, Robinson, which presents the BBC Radio 4 program today, said that his account was hacked after we acknowledged an email that I thought had been sent wrongly by the social media platform.
