Prep talk: Freshman golfer Jaden Soong of St. Francis loves pressure

Jadine Song, a new golf player in St. Francis Hai, is thrived under pressure.
He said, “I will say that I love pressure.”
Twice in the past two weeks, he won a qualifiers to keep his season continuous. But the story of his first victory in the qualifiers is the comedy at its best.
He had left the TEMECULA CREEK golf club in the individual championships of the southern division after he concluded that he failed to qualify for Scga regions and stopped at Jack in the box to get food to ride home. Then he received a phone call from a friend: “My shout, we are in a separate match.”
It was 17 minutes from the session and he needed to return in 10 minutes. He said, “We have moved it.”
Fortunately, there were no police with radar rifles in the vicinity where he was returned to the course.
The qualifiers already started when it arrived. The players were in the corridor. He had no time to change his golf shoe, so he played in his shoes in Nike Air Force. He got an equal footing on the first hole, then a bird wins the qualifiers and progress. At the end of last week, he won another match to reach the country championship on Tuesday at Popping Hills in Peble Beach.
The 14 -year -old is ready for anything.
