Kyle Busch races against son Brexton, 9, for first time: ‘I’ve got bragging rights’

Salisbury, North Carolina-was the first to know the number of times for this unique moment of father and son. They enjoyed some garbage talking as part of a historic night to a race against each other.

The wife – who was also the mother – was there to encourage them alike and even recognized a small favoritism.

Who must Samantha Bush root when watching her husband, Kyle BushThe race against their 9 -year -old son, Brexstone? Both were in the small printing race in the Millbridge Speedway Dirtway, a mile on Wednesday.

“I am roaring for both,” said Samantha Bush. “But if you have to choose, often, I must go with Brexstone. Just because he is my child.

“He will be astonished because I just did it – my child has called him.”

But, hey, Brextun Busch is only nine. This is something that the parents try to remember as he continues to advance as a race driver.

In a moment, he plays my sparse and then at another moment, talking to the mechanic that works on his car. After that, in another case, the younger Busch is racing for a path he knows completely.

Kyle Bush, who won 63 Naskar Cup Racing and 232 recorded in the three national chain, spent time speaking to the fans and admitted that he would be able to compete, and to race against his child.

“I always compete,” he said before the race. “The biggest thing I did not necessarily think is my competitors and my presence there in the racetrack and focus on that and not worrying a lot about where he is or what he is doing.

“I hope not to follow a green car [of Brexton]. The green car follows a blue car [of me]”

As he said, Ibn Kyleh gave him on his arm.

“On the contrary,” said Brexstone. “The green car, the blue car tracks.”

In the end, Kyle ranked third in the race, while Brexston ranked sixth. But there was a time when they were running in third and fourth.

“I got proud rights over the next two weeks,” Kyle said, laughing.

In general, it was an enjoyable night for a family with a race in their blood. The attention is likely to pressure Brexstone, which is naturally he has because of his last name. It is not alone in this sense. Millbridge is a path where many drivers and crew members in the industry bring their children to the race in a variety of youth classes-from GO-Karts signs to vehicles similar to limited capacity cars.

This is the place where many of the auto world sons and daughters get competitive races. But the current Naskar star rarely against their son.

“This happened just sooner rather than what we all thought would do so,” said Kyle Bush. “I feel that he did a really good job and learned a lot. Whether it is superior to me or not, it is not the point.

“The important point is to participate at this moment. Enjoy some fun at this moment – as a father and a son – as a family and be able to work on his craft and keep him on the upscale swing. I am only here for beer.”

They shared time on the path, and when Kyle passed using the upper groove, Brextu saw it and tried to do the same.

“I definitely tried it, but it didn’t work,” said Brexston.

My father was hoping that his son would not follow him.

“I was not very good,” said Kyle Bosch, who was put on him about 30 lbs on the minimum weight of these types of cars.

“I was hoping to think about the opposite and not follow me, and perhaps it would happen. I didn’t think the summit would work.”

Kyle Bush said that it happened on Wednesday night, it was not supposed to be a distraction for him during the racing season or a way to reset the end of this week’s Cup in Martinsville.

“I try to forget on Sunday as soon as Sunday ends,” Kyle said. “It is difficult to do this.

“[By] On Wednesday, we are already focusing on next week and trying to prepare again for the next one. “

Does this mean that they will compete again, perhaps in the truck race against each other in six years? If the rules remain the same, Brexstone will be eligible (if it continues to advance) to compete for short tracks and road cycles in May 2031 after reaching 16 years.

Kyle Bush, in the past, talked about both race trucks, and they may share a trip.

“I always said that he would manage short tracks and manage big tracks and when he was old, he would have assumed his duties,” said Kyle Bush. “I don’t know that we will face each other in NASCAR, but we have to see where everything will fall when that time comes.”
