NASCAR: Canadian driver says Trump’s Daytona 500 appearance gave her chills

After talking to some drivers on Pit Lane, he installed in a presidential limousine, the “monster”, as it took a step before the green flag fly.
William Peron won the DayTona 500 for the second time in his career and spoke to Fox News Digital earlier this month about what Trump’s presence means.

“It was very elegant,” Peron said. “I think at any time you can have a sitting president who comes and sees your sporting event, it is very special. To take enough time to do this it was really great. Just to see the procession pass through the course and the different things he did when there was great.
“I brought a lot of energy and excitement to the race before it started.”
