Wood had six plate matches and was deliberately walking. This was the first time that the mixture was deliberately walking four times in a game since Barry Bonds in 2004.
The only others who have deliberately walked four times in a game since 1955 are at least Roger Maris, Gary Templeton, Mane Ramirez and Andre Dawson, who got five deliberate aspects in May 1990.

Wood was one of the best players for citizens since he entered the league in 2024. He had 31 runs at home and 105 RBI with an average beating. Its numbers were compared to Juan Soto and Price Harper.
