Jimmy Johnson announces retirement from Fox’s NFL coverage after 31 years

Jimmy Johnson, who won the Super Bowls and with a national tournament as a coach, announced his retirement from Fox Sports after he was part of American Football Association 31 years coverage.
Johnson, 81, released the announcement on Monday as he appeared on “the herd with Cullen Kird”.
He said: “It was more fun in my career, which is calculated by Super Bowls and national championships, in Fox SPORTS,” adding that he liked the work of CEO Eric Shanks and Fox NFL Sunday Bill Richards.
“But I made a very difficult decision,” he said. “I have been thinking about it over the past four or five years and decided to retire from Fox. I will miss him. I will miss all the players. I will see them from time to time. It was a great race starting from 31 years.”
Johnson worked alongside Court Minivi, Terry Bradcheo and analysts Hawi Long and Michael Strohan.
Super Bowls won with Dallas Cowboys in the seasons of 1992-1993 and the National Football College with Miami in 1987.
