IN June, flagrantly Hot temperatures and long drying from southern Italy decreased to its worst decades. The water shortage in Capri has become so prominent that local authorities temporarily prevented the emptying of tourists to the island. Lack of precipitation tells only half of the story. The handcuffed infrastructure is to blame this, as it leaks more than 40 % of the Capri drinking water through the pipeline leaks before it reaches customers.
