Opera’s new browser might save you from doomscrolling

The Norway -based opera has announced a new browser, Air Opera, with a focus on mind and mental luxury. It includes lounge reminders, breathing exercises, and a set of comfortable audio tools to help users focus and get rid of stress.

“The web is beautiful, but it can be messy and overwhelming,” Mohamed Salah saysOpera product manager. “We decided to look at science -backed ways to help our users move in a way that makes them feel better.”

The air is characterized by a semi -transparent design and floating sidebar for vigilance features. When you need to work, the Boosts feature provides music, surrounding sounds and ears – where a little different frequencies are played in each ear, creating a third brain -imagined frequency in the brain and is believed to help affect relaxation or focus. Soundscapes can be adjusted to play from 15 minutes to forever, and can be temporarily stopped from the sidebar at any time.

Break’s reminder is a three -lines symbol in the side ribbon that brings it out during your work – you can customize the period – to remind you of taking a break as soon as the symbol fades fades. Air at this stage can also help, with breathing exercises, neck exercises, “full body checks”, and guided reflections, which reach 15 minutes.
