Palisades High baseball field is gone after bulldozers clear land for bungalows

Mike Felekel, Pressbul Hi Bastoul coach, who was in his eighteenth season, said he promised a new field after the bulldozers did what they were doing better – removed anything remaining from the baseball stadium in Palisades two weeks ago.

His training will not be, because it will be retired for a long time when building a new field. The Los Angeles Unified School area is estimated in 2029 when a new field is completed, but everyone knows that LOS estimates ended building something rarely accurate.

Lausd will put the temporary semesters of the gun on space to help the school rebuild from the Palisades fire. The rapid settlement of the field occurred although some want an alternative plan. The school had a Benglav before the fire, but it was destroyed. Suddenly the field became the choice of lead.

Below is a statement from a spokesperson for Lausd: “There were 21 semesters destroyed in the fire that was present in permanent and portable buildings. The temporary semester of the portable will be placed on the baseball field and will be used until the permanent classroom is prepared until permanent structures are directed, which will be assigned in the field to the phrase. It is expected to be completed in 2029.”

This season, the baseball team was traveling to different sites of games and practices because the campus was closed. No plan has been announced for what they will do next year. The lack of baseball players will not encourage circumventing a school that carries lessons in the old SEARS building in Santa Monica.

For graduates, the destruction of the field is annoying. Millions of dollars have been invested for improvements, including netting, fencing, stadium machines and striking cages. Rick Paulus, who had two sons playing baseball in Palisades, said he helped put “expensive protective columns and networks.”

Everything went.

“It is an integral part of society,” he said.

Daril Struberi had hit a ball on sunset street during the days of his game in Crinko Hai.

The entire Western League faces a challenge with the presence of four seven schools that do not contain baseball. Only Venice and Ferfax will have fields to play on campus at the present time.

Voelkel got a final look at his field when he was taking to check things in his desk before clearing the bulldozers everything.

He said: “I think I can go to heaven and my head adheres to blood, sweat and tears in this field.”
