Paul Pierce responds to Rajon Rondo saying Lakers title ‘meant more’ than Celtics title

Rajon Rondo has an interesting legacy with Boston Celkus.
While he won a championship with the team as a main player in 2008 and made all his four manifestations in all stars wearing Boston’s costume, he also won a championship with the bitter Celix competitor, Los Angeles LakersIn 2020.
As if this did not make matters controversially controversial, Rondo, who officially retired from the American Professional League in 2024, scored, saying that the title of 2020 Lakers means more than the only title he won with Boston in 2008.
Rondo said through A look on “Run It back” Wednesday. “It is something that I will remember more with my children. If you have children you will understand.
“When I was with Celkus, I think this is about to be the new normal,” Rondo continued. “I thought we had a hell of time and a team could run it back, and to some extent, I took somewhat if I was a foregone of it when I was young, but I understand now. It took 12 years to get one and appreciate it more than 10 times … it is different values, but it is clear that CelTics have reached me where I am in my career.
The legend of the Celks Paul Peres, who beat MVP in 2008, got an opportunity to suspend Rondo during the “Speak” episode on Thursday on the FS1, and perhaps for Boston’s loyal surprise, Pierce understood the feelings of his former teammate.
“This is fair,” Pierce said. “This is what happens when you win your second title. When you win your second title, as Rajon Rondo holds you in another category where the history of the American Professional League stands, and perhaps, the Famer hall can be now.”
Pears was recruited in the Celebrity Basketball Hall in Naismith in 2021 as an engine in the first ball.
“This is fair, de,” Pierce said. “I am happy for you, my son.”
CelTics broke a tie with Lakers last season for most titles by a privilege in the history of the American Professional League (18).
Lakers and CELTICS will renew their competition on Thursday when they go to face for the first time this season. Advice at 10 pm Easter.
