Philips has announced a new initiative that would allow 3D consumers for their alternatives to small but basic parts listed in many of their personal health products. There is currently a single alternative part of Philips on Printables: a small adjustable comb to be designed to connect it to the OneBlade award. The company recommends using standard PLA threads and advises users to print the part by using the same direction it enjoys in the original file, which does not require the use of any additional supports. Modifying the file may reduce the amount of the ritual need or reduce printing times to waive its durability.
It is a welcome initiative, but it will only lead to significant sustainability improvements if the company continues and launches more than just one supplement. Philips excite additional three -dimensional parts, including adjustable evidence for beard and ingredients for devices such as an electric toothbrush and hair dryers, but it does not determine when it will be available. It also provides a model where consumers can apply for a 3D printable alternative to a specific part, but it does not guarantee the creation of anyone, or determining the time it will take to one version after a quality monitoring test.
