Pike Place Exec Axed for Daring to Say No to ‘Resistance’ Tantrum – Twitchy
Only when you think there is a hint of the mind in Seattle, the story of such a story is published.
The radical left claimed another victim thanks to the absolute shameful cheese of the Pike Place.
Lillian Sherman, Executive Director of the Pike Playlus Market Foundation, was mainly expelled – her resignation is effective on March 7. Her crime? Canceling an event that insisted the mobilization of the resistance in Seattle that some of the sacred rituals of the gradual activity. The mobs did not tolerate any deviation from the text program, and now, another leader has been cleared of his failure to meet the constantly changing demands of the left -wing Orthodox.
Sherman’s departure follows an outbreak of activists regarding her decision to cancel the “anniversary day” event in the market. This event, organized by the Radical Social Justice Group Tsuru for Solidarity, was supposed to celebrate the prison of Japanese Americans during World War II. But this was not just a memorial-it was a political charged gathering designed to draw a direct and ridiculous parallel between the immigration policies dating back to the era of Donald Trump and the forced accreditation of Japanese Americans.
The Foundation has truly decided that the explicit political “resistance” messages of the event were not in line with its mission as a social services organization.
It should have been the end. The institution had all the right to say, “This is not what we do.” But in Seattle, nothing is simply. You are not allowed to say no radical left without paying a price.
The director made a wise decision, but this is unable in Seattle.
Unfortunately, he clings to life in some parts of America.
Democrats have played with these people for a long time. Now, they are stuck with them.
It is a beautiful part of the country and it is a shame.
Not even once.
