Prep talk: Bellflower basketball team celebrates first league title since 1978

Zach Carter, 34 -year -old coach, directed Bellaflower High to the first basketball championship in the league since 1978 in his second season as a main coach. This is impressive.

Carter Protic was from Patrick Roy, after he was an assistant in Inglo and Saint -Paul. The team ranges between 20 and 8 and won the City League title by beating 50-47 against Downey on Tuesday evening.

“It was crazy,” Carter said about the reaction in the gym. “Fans, Director.”

Shammas Bots, EJ Andrews and 6-5 team led the Derik Martinez pirates.

“The children have done hard,” Carter said. “I have always been human beings.”
