To the scientific community, the Botanic Gardens in Sydney are known as the Botanic Gardens Amorphophallus titanumwhich translates to “big deformed penis.” But online, the rare endangered plant has taken on a life of its own.
This is the first time the corpse flower has bloomed at the Royal Botanic Garden in 15 years – and when it does bloom, it only lasts 24 to 48 hours.
