Rebecca Kutler named president of MSNBC

Rebecca Kotler won the title of the new president of the Progressive Channel Channel owned by Comcast MSNBC after holding the publication on a temporary basis.
Mark Lazaros, CEO of Kumkast, which leads the proposed joining company that will include MSNBC and other cable networks, announced the appointment of Kutler on Wednesday.
“In the short time that Rebecca was the temporary president, it has become clear to me that she has a great strategic point of view and the appropriate leadership skills to ensure MSNBC’s progress on her promise in the brand, and she is in a growth situation during the period of change of industry. Lazaros said in a memorandum of network employees.
MSNBC suffered a significant decrease in the classifications after President Trump was elected for another while in the White House in November. The audience was slowly returning. The network star, Rachel Mado, returned to the Laila program two years after appearing once a week and for special coverage.
Kutler joined MSNBC in 2022 as the first deputy content strategy. I went up to the president’s role after leaving Rashida Jones last month.
Previously, Kutler spent 12 years in CNN where she supervised direct programming and participated in developing the short -term broadcast service CNN+.
Kutler fees to lead the network will be imposed into a future where paid TV works – which is the main reason that COMCAST revolves off MSNBC. Although it is still profitable, MSNBC and other cable ports that depend on subscription fees on paid TV face a mysterious future with a decrease in the source of revenue.
