Falke masters drawings of buildings, trees and bridges with little manual adjustment of what the mirror captures. “I soon realized that the mirror was an actor in the image, not just the reflection in it,” Falk says. “Then came my hand, which I tried to avoid showing at first, but which became an important part of the series. The story became: a handheld mirror, for me Mirror, creates unusual images in familiar places. “
