Russia frees REvil hackers after sentencing

Four members of the Revil Ransomware Group were released from reservations despite being approved on charges of fraud and the distribution of harmful programs. The Dzzilsky Court in St. Petersburg, Roman Moromsky, Andrei Bissonov, Mikhail Golovachuk, and Dmitry Corotayev, allowed walking after being sentenced to five years in prison on Monday, and issued that the gang members spent enough time in a Russian capture center while waiting for the trial.
according to Russian -owned news agency TasMuromsky, Bessonov, Golovachuk and Korotaev confirmed that they are involved in the activities of Revil between October 2015 and January 2022, and targeted American citizens in the first place. This includes “Carding”, which is a form of fraud and washing that includes the use of stolen credit card information to buy prepaid gift cards.
The court also ordered Bisonov to deliver 2 BMWS, Mercedes Benz C200 2019 and more than a million dollars (in the US dollar and the US dollar) from Korotaev. The ruling did not include any fines.
A total of 14 members of Revil were arrested in January 2022, four of them were delivered – Daniil Puzyrevsky, Artem Zayets, Alexey Malozemov, and RUUSLANCONASVYAROV – Six and a half years in October. None of them is currently believed to have been delivered, or will be, to the United States.
