Nintendo Switch 2 has been released all over the world, with stores opened in the middle of the night so that fans can get their hands on the long -awaited console at the moment it has become available.
Some stores contain the devices available to buy the shelf – but in most cases, customers were taking the keyboards they previously requested, as the UK retailer described it as “the largest pre -order of games.”
Despite the excitement, there were some setbacks, with one resource, game, Cancel some pre -orders.
In the United States, Nintendo pulled out the previous switch in April On concerns about definitions Before starting again after a few weeks.
There are also questions about whether Switch 2 will match the success of his predecessor – the third best sale unit for sale in history – due to the high prices of games.
A physical version of its most prominent games, Mario Kart World, comes at a price of 74.99 pounds – 15 pounds more expensive than the typical switching address.
Although early signs are that there is a great interest in the customer.
Currys BBC told that it sold 30,000 units – which was attributed to the “amazing excitement” associated with the launch.
“It is a big deal.”
The original Nintendo Switch has transformed more than 150 million units since 2017.
There was a successor in business for years – so may be Tushar Sandarka, president of the Mario Kart Association at York University, among those who are ever raised, and the new version of Mario that comes with it.
“He will be released with Mario Cart World – the first since 2014 – it’s a big problem for us,” said 19 -year -old.
“Equalization of pre -order was a difficult decision because it is very expensive.
“Even if it is a little higher than I wanted to pay for it, it will serve me well for the next 7 or 8 years.”

But not everyone spoke to the BBC said they would pick up the control unit at launch.
My and Loti said, both in York, that they will adhere to the original key because of the cost.
“It is very spike,” May said. “What we have is fine.”
Loti agreed, but she said she was disappointed not to play in the new Mario Cart game – which she said she might cost her to “Today’s salaries”.
“I don’t spend it in a game,” she said.

For Nintendo, Switch 2 represents a change in the strategy – in the past, its new devices have been granted a completely new name.
“This is the first time that Nintendo has launched a straight supplement,” Brand Director Sam Loveridge told BBC.
“It is a clear proposal for consumers – they know exactly what they are getting from this console if they are familiar with the original key.”
She said, “Everything indicates” pre -orders sold well.
She said: “When pre -orders started for the first time, it was an absolute stampede to find any stock, but Nintendo was clearly prepared and since those early weeks, it was much easier to secure a control unit for the launch day.”
Solid version
I was one of the fortunate to get my hand to switch 2 at an event in April.
Like its predecessor, it is a “hybrid” console – a mobile device that can also be connected to a large screen TV.
But it has a larger and brighter screen, along with a lot of energy and storage.
It still has a little innovation – you can use the console like a computer mouse by twisting on its side, making computer games like Vii civilization more fun than using a control stick.
But many Nintendo games shown at this event – including Metroid Prime 4, Donkey Kong: Banza and Super Mario Party Jamboree TV – will not be available at launch.
Instead, the new Nintendo game on the new control unit will be Mario Kart World, except for a small title called Welcome Tour that displays some new devices.
“It might seem like a strange bet, but with the original Mario Kart 8 being the best -selling game Wii U and Mario Cart 8 Deluxe is the best -selling Nintendo Switch game, there is a very firm audience there.”
The giant giant is also launched on the first day of Switch’s Legend of Zelda versions, and the breathing of the wild and tears in the Kingdom, which benefits from the strength of the largest control unit.
Moreover, players will have to search for third -party games for alternatives at all.
The Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, Cyberpunk 2077 and Bravely Prevault.

“The control unit provides many opportunities for third -party game publishers who bring Nintendo to more direct competition with Sony and Microsoft,” said Katie Holt, Ampare Analysis, Katie Holt.
Fans can expect more third -party games as the control unit also develops – with Tachehiro Duhta, the great manager of Nintendo, tells me that he expects games to improve.
He said: “When there are software for launch software, developers still do not fully know the capabilities and devices well enough.”
“As developers continue to develop, they start understanding how he works and what is able to do so, so I think we can expect improvements not only in graphics but in the way of playing too.”
