Swiss roll: a scenic tour of Switzerland by train | Switzerland holidays

SVitra is not expensive, it’s very exclusive, “joking with our tourist guide while we were walking along the paved road on the beach of Lake Luceren.
GTTOS takes 1,280 km of tourist attractions, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Swiss Alps in Jungfrau-matesch, Matterhorn water and pure lake water. The road is very flexible – you can jump and turn off as you go.
Armed with our Swiss travel pass, we took four different train lines from Montreu, to Spies, Lucerne, Lukreno and Sion. The Pass is a dream ticket, offering unlimited trains, boats and buses for up to 15 days, and entering 500 museums without any additional and a half price fees for some mountain flights.
We set out on the morning of the rainy Tuesday, and we took Eurostar from London to Paris and then to Montreu via Geneva. Our first trip was a visit to Château de Chillon, which is located on the Geneva Lake. It was built in the eleventh century, the largest castle of the castle in Europe and also, for a good reason, the most visited monument in Switzerland. The medieval castle mixes the pin with the Gothic and Romanian, and its vitae and windows with specific observation. We toured a whistle in the four sponsorships, bedrooms, and the surveillance program with its sixteenth bell, before returning to Montreu.
There, I was made directly for Freddy Mercury tour, which begins in the covered market. He needs to maintain a low decrease and his head at the height of his fame, Queens of Mang lived in Montreu and stopped him from 1978 to his death in 1991.
The tour started with his bronze statue overlooking Lake Lyman, Mercury’s grip in the air, and ended in the Montreu Casino, where Queen recorded six of her albums. The Montenen Studio now includes an exhibition dedicated to the band, and displays Freddy’s clothes on stage, including Which – which Yellow jacket with tapes. Seeing gambling machines and roulette wheels below this iconic place in the history of music was almost surreal.
That afternoon, it is time for the first station of GTTOS, The Goldenpass Express: a two -hour trip from Montreu to Spies. Through the inner part of the blue and golden interior, I all felt luxurious, even in the second degree. The huge windows of the train provides panoramic views of the amazing landscape and brown cows with bells around their necks and trees to fresh green foliage in the spring.
Spiez is a small city next to the quiet Thun Lake. After walking around the lake, it climbed about 75 steps until Spiez Castle, with more wonderful views, this time from the Alpine Bernes and the lake below.
Early a phrase in the last morning, Petinburg, the tallest village in Europe, which extends more than 12 km before arriving in Interlalkin. We took walking across the city to the Jungfrau mountain range to the right and the large hotel, which seems to be something from the Wes Anderson movie, given the greatness and longing of it. He had a tourist resort on this topic, with souvenir stores at every turn, but, from the ranges, they renovated the wonderful blue sky, and the Jungfrau Mountains are still covered with snow.
Next, we jumped on Interlaken To-Lucerne Express, a road famous for its amazing views of the five area lakes. Pestero on the plane was also a great success: I enjoyed a vegetable Tartari and a dish called “ghackets mit hornli” – a typical Swiss meal of minced meat, pasta and SBRINZ cheese served with an aspect of apple sauce.
The scenic Lucen, which was once the aristocracy, is divided into two parts next to the Ryos River and is proud of seven bridges. She crossed the Al -Musalla Bridge, covered in the fourteenth century, where the historical water tower was standing beside it, and went on a picnic early in the Old City free of cars. I spent an impressive afternoon Swiss Transport MuseumIt is especially fun for children, with interactive exhibitions and simulation rides.
Our next train was Gotthard Panorama Express, by riding a boat via Lakerne Lake. Adding a dramatic effect, it was a foggy day, so the clouds covered a lot of mountains. But on a clear day, you can see the ice rivers in the peaks with a height of 3000 meters above sea level. As for the train leg on the trip, the transport can only be described as a cylinder space ship. The traffic through the Gotthard tunnel, which was simultaneously longer in the world at a height of 15 km.
The old city of Locarno is spreading with different colored houses, every shadow indicates the condition of the fishermen. Landyqi, the three stars Garni Wall HotelIt was picturesque views of the Magor Lake. The next morning, we took a trip to Grande, one of the Persago Islands, the only botanical park in Switzerland and 2000 types of almost tropical species. If you tell me that I will find bamboo, curry plants and orange trees in Switzerland, I will not believe you on Sunday. We jumped again on the phrase and wandered around the neighboring Askuna, a strange village full of designers and boutique ports.
The final panoramic train trip was on the Sentofali Express to Sion, where it was crossed by Italy and the village of Domdosola. The train itself was not like the former, but it does not matter. This scenic road passes through waterfalls, tables and vast forests, not going faster than 40 km in the trip for about two hours.
She arrived in Sion in the evening, and was raised to the Cathedral of Sion, where she saw the city from the hill top. I got there in a timely manner to see a special jet land on the runway to my left as sunset.
Train Travel has offered a slower alternative than the heroes that allowed me to see all the unparalleled beauty of Switzerland. He did not disappoint him.
