In this newly created role, TED will allow us to continue our growth and provide greater support for many vital divisions within our organization.
As the chief business official, he will submit a report to us and work closely with the leadership to determine and implement the strategic and operational plans of the mobile photo collection. It will also determine and lead new business development opportunities and growth opportunities, ensuring the company’s long -term compatibility of WBD. In addition, TED will lead to improving internal processes through production, marketing and distribution while providing instructions on adopting new technologies and innovative practices in partnership with the functional threads involved in financing, P&C, GBT, alignment with ONWBD.
By working with our colleagues in financing, broadcasting, concession, content/home entertainment sales, licensing, and consumer products, TED will cooperate with each section to ensure the arrival of each version of Warner Bros. Pictures to the widest possible audience outside its theatrical window. With this new structure, Ricky Tidos, who is SVP for creative strategy and film operations and his team will provide reports to TED.
TED comes to WBD from Amazon MGM Studios, where he recently worked as head of global development and business development, supervision of corporate strategy, film content strategy (theatrical and flow), international origin, creative planning, concession management, and strategic partnerships. During his presence in Amazon, TED helped the architect of the company’s advanced film strategy-in particular, supervised the strategic expansion of the theatrical list with the upcoming titles such as accountant 2, the Hail Mary project, Master of the Connect, and Crown Affair, while implementing strategies Distribution for modern headlines including Creed III, Challengers, The Beekeeper and American Fitch.
