Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen resigns following board’s investigation into his personal conduct

Rodney McMulin, Chairman and CEO of Kroger, resigned after the grocery chain council led an internal investigation into his “personal behavior”, NPR mentioned.

McMullen began working in Kroger in 1978 as part -time writer in Lexington, Kentucky, according to the company’s official website. Specifically, McMullen’s work at the Eastland Shopping Center Kroger while joining the University of Kentucky. He eventually became the financial manager in 1995 and CEO of Operations in 2009.
