This first article is the first in a special series that leads to running 109 from Indianapolis 500 on May 25 on Fox, where Indycar drivers had formulated messages about the meaning of the historical race for them.

Dear Indianapolis Motor Speedway,

There is something about you always committed to me.

You are loud. You are unabated. You do not care about those who go chew or who crown. This makes you very special.

I still remember the first time that I have been leading on the brick square. I thought, “It’s just another path. Quick, yes. But I went quickly before.” Then I heard the crowd. I saw the rows of fans stacked higher than I imagined. I felt history sitting in the air. After that, I knew that I was just a small piece in something much larger.

Every time it may revolve around it, my heartbeat changes. There is energy roaming in garages, like every person chasing something special. Because we are. Each driver wants his face on the Bourg Warner Cup. Each crew wants to restrict this milk. And every fan? They want to feel an unforgettable thing.

People ask me what ID 500 Feel He loves. It is not just a race. It is a dream that you should fight for. Sometimes, he fights more strongly than you expect.

I broke my heart here. I felt that the car was on the edge, and I pushed places I did not know that I could go. I moved away from victory, but also with a very deep sting, I am thinking how close we are. And yes, it’s painful. But it also feeds me.

Because this place … does not distribute anything. You have to earn it. Each roll. Each hole stops. Every moment of chaos when the instinct begins and trusts that you and your team have been made for this purpose. And a little woman’s luck is a long way.

Every time it may revolve around it, my heartbeat changes. There is energy roaming in garages, like every person chasing something special.

To the masses who swept overnight, just because they are in the first row, for children who see their hero fly in Papaya and think, “This could be I one day,” – That’s also for you. You make this race what it is. You remind us of why we are fighting hard to win here.

One day, I will drink this milk with my five ups. I think it is with everything I have. And when we do it, it would be for all of us who have believed – even when we made the highway waiting.

We see you soon.

Pato
