The magical make-believe of eating at the Ritz | Restaurants

I used to go to Ritz for a long time that my first lunch cost him three Guinea (There is nothing else like that: Ritz is the best restaurant in the United Kingdom, June 14). A visitor from San Francisco, who noticed that he was “a place that people want to put on the air” rightly: I rejoice that he is. I want to wear official clothes, and to be with the company of others who had to make a sought -out effort and provide it by the non -flawless waiters, and who treat me as if I were an important person.
It is a theater. Of course it is. How dull life will be without such a magic design. Ritz has raised my spirits regularly for 60 years. I hope to sip Earl Gray in the wonderful Palm Hall until it is time to go to this wonderful youth in the sky – which I hope will be like Ritz.
