30 years ago today, May 17, 1995, the veteran in the army, Sean Nelson, managed to steal the M60A3 tank and go to a distance of 6 miles via San Diego, California.
Nelson was a local celebrity before the accident.
He was known to cut the grass in the middle of the night and also drilled a 20 -foot hole in his backyard in search of gold.
On the evening of May 17, 1995, Nelson led his truck and stopped sending the National Guard of the California Local Army.
Then he began breaking the locks on the tanks before moving into a 60 tons tank.
Throughout the next thirty minutes, Nelson was damaged, bridges, fire, and traffic light, 40 cars were destroyed, and 5100 families were left without electricity.
No one was hurt.
After stumbling, the San Diego police rose to the head of the tank, opened the opening and opened fire and K*LLED Nelson.

This is a tragic end.
Some posters remember their vision on TV screens when this happened, and cars that were settled like aluminum cans.
I remember watching this on TV. It was brutal.

They do not make such cars anymore.
Some posters are wondering why the police kill Nelson instead of being subjected to somehow.
They should just have.
Poor spirit.

Most police stations did not have tasers at the time. It really didn’t become anything even for early in the middle of 2000

The police came out in 1993, but were not widely used at the time. The tank crashed, and the police forced the opening of the hole. Nelson refused to surrender and tried to spin the tank to force the officers to go out. It ended with a shooting because they had no way to determine whether he was armed.
