Trump floats gutting the IRS, moving agents to the border armed with guns

President Donald Trump It was mooted at moving the nearly 90,000 IRS agents hired under the Biden administration to the border to patrol the area while armed with rifles.
“On day one, I immediately stopped hiring any new IRS agents. They have hired, or attempted to hire, 88,000 new workers for your notice. We are developing a plan to terminate all of them or perhaps we will move them to the border.
“Where they are allowed to carry weapons, you know, they are very strong on weapons, but these people are allowed to carry weapons, so we will probably move it to the border,” he continued. Some IRS special agents are permitted to carry firearms as part of their duties, according to the IRS Code, 26 U.S. Code § 7608.

While moving thousands of IRS agents to the border, Trump also proposed ending the income tax across the board, saying his plans on tariffs could fill fiscal gaps.
“How about no tax,” he said to cheers, while laughing. “You can do it. You know if the definitions work as I think, something like that could happen, if you want to know the truth.”

We had, what we had was a tariff, where foreign countries came in and they stole our jobs, they stole our companies, they stole our products. They ripped us out. To the tariff, the tariff system.
