The cancellation comes in the wake of the tremendous changes at the Kennedy Center, including the president Donald Trump Ended by the president and the chairman of the board of directors in early February. Trump replaced most of the Board of Directors with the loyalists, who then elected the new president of the Foundation.

The World PRIDE event is held every two years and this year will last from May 17 to June 8 with offers and planned celebrations throughout the country’s capital. However, concerns arose about the type of reception that the attendees will receive due to the Trump administration policies targeting the transgender people and comments about the Kennedy Center offers.

“I know that the capital as a society will be very excited to host global pride, but I know that society is somewhat different from the government,” said Michael Rost, founder and director of the International Orchestra Braid, who was canceled on June 5 at the Kennedy Center, which was canceled a few days after controlling the Foundation.

The Associated Press reported that he was in the final stages of performance planning at the center. He was waiting for a final contract when Trump revealed on February 7, and the leadership and his plans to amend the programming of the institution.

He said that the center became unwanted after that.

On February 12, Roest said he had received one email from one of the Kennedy Center employees, saying it “is no longer able to enhance your contract at this time.”

“They have moved from a very passionate to host anything,” he told Associated Press. “We have not heard since then a word from anyone at the Kennedy Center, but this will not prevent us.”

After the cancellation, Roest said he was able to transfer the performance of the Braid International Orchestra to the Strightmore Theater in the nearby Betsda, Maryland.

Wright said he had never been provided for the reason for the late performance cancellation of the planning stages. He said that the orchestra is no longer considering performance at the Kennedy Center and that most strange artists are likely to make the same option.

“There must be a very public statement on the inclusiveness of the administration, from this council, in order to look at this,” he said. “Otherwise, it is an enemy performance space.”

Crenshaw said that some other events, including the time of the withdrawal story and the display of parts of the memorial AIDS, will be shown to the world’s welcome center in the Chinese district.
