Trump optimistic about Israel-Iran deal as countries trade airstrikes

president Donald Trump On Sunday, Israel and Iran said that they must go “with optimism that a deal can be concluded, as both countries continue to trade air strikes, amid fears of the broader conflict in the Middle East.

Trump was preparing to run one air force to leave for Canada to attend the Group 7 summit in Alberta when he was asked about his efforts to help cancel tensions between Israel and Iran.

“Well, I hope there is a deal,” Trump said. “I think it is time for a deal, and we will see what is happening. But sometimes they have to fight it. But we will see what is happening. I think there is a good opportunity to have a deal.”

Earlier, the Israeli Air Force and the Navy have successfully intercepted more than 100 uninhabited air vehicles (UAVS) launched by Iran in continuous air attacks, with no reports on drones falling in Israeli territory.
