University boys lacrosse rolls past Musselman 18-1, continues to build momentum towards playoffs

Morgantown – Since two of the first three matches of the 2025 season were dropped, the Lacrosse team at the University High School won 10 consecutive matches while leaving two matches in the calendar.

Another victory came on Friday evening at the MyLan Pharmaceutical Stadium, where Musselman was defeated 18-1 in one side competition. The hosts left no doubt about the grass on their way to a consecutive victory.

On Friday, UHS (11-2) achieved 13 players scoring a goal against Applemen (2-7), where he scored four.

LUCAS Garman, Dane Wolfe, Nicolas Joseph and Cam Jordan-EGnot all multi-goal games. Michael Regez, Tae Jordan-Eino, Esidan McClintok, Maxwell Walker, Noah Prague, Max Travis, Tyler Garbric, Josh Bruner, and Ashton Bordette, all added their names to the score paper to calculate the 18 falcons.

UHS dominated the match from the opening to the last century, which only allowed the individual goal by Musselman in 48 minutes of the placenta.

“We love our team this year with a good mix of players at all levels of the four rows and certainly our biggest team in a long time,” said UHS coach Antonio Masscaru. “We spent the night of senior tonight, celebrated 15 elderly, but some of these men did not play much before this season. We were very heavy last season, and these men worked hard to reach where they are, and the work has not yet ended. We have some of our most difficult games in front of us.”

He led the hawks 6-0 after the first quarter and 15-0 at the end of the first half.

Garman, Reges, Tae Jordan-Einot, and McClintock scored in the first quarter, where Wolf scored each of his goals in 12 minutes.

Joseph, Walker, Kam Jordan-Eino added their husband in the second quarter. Garman got his second in the game, while Bragg and Travis turned a goal for each.

A second frame of nine hawks’ goals witnessed 15-0, heading to the treasury room.

“This group has a willingness to learn and improve every day, and we are all synchronous throughout the season,” said Mascaro. ))

The hawks added three other goals in the second half, and Musselman scored his only three -minute goal in the last quarter.

“There is no alternative to hard work,” said Mascaro. “I think this group has become more mature throughout the season, and we really pushed these men strongly, trying to make sure we are all on the same page and hit the cylinder about the things we want to see. If there is no willingness to improve, you are standing up.”

Falcons will travel to Preston on Tuesday before hosting a very expected match with its opponent in Crossstown Morgana on Friday, May 2, on Baker Ridge.
