Unpacking AI Agents | WIRED

Will Fares: We may also need an open source renewable movement, so we only use agents who belong to the data of these giant companies. Use software instructions and open models, and this type of object.

Michael Calor: This is a very good idea. We must get a signal. They should start doing this. They should make their own model.

Lauren Jude: I think this looks great.

Michael Calor: Well, let’s take another break, and we will go back directly. Will and Lauren, thank you for activating the conversation. We will put artificial intelligence agents on the side for a minute and get a person again. Let’s talk through some recommendations. It will, as our guest, recommend something to our listeners.

Will Fares: Well, I talked about this earlier, but I want to make this recommendation. I will raise it, which is a wonderful radio. This book, which is Evolution of the agency Written by Michael Thomasilo. I found it wonderful and truly revealed what is missing with artificial intelligence when it comes to proxy, the importance of understanding human social interaction, and human culture. When it comes to the big picture of the intelligence in AGI, which everyone talks about, but they don’t talk about it much.

Michael Calor: Cute – good. Lauren, what is your recommendation?

Lauren Jude: My recommendation is local news, especially a local mission.

Michael Calor: Yay!

Lauren Jude: Mission Local is a local non -profit news organization here in San Francisco covering Mission, but also San Francisco on a large scale. They do a great job. There is a lot that happens in American cities at the present time, especially Los Angeles, as well as in San Francisco. There are ice raids that occur throughout the country and people take the streets to protest. Mission Local is doing a great job covering what is going on in San Francisco so far. I recommend that you support them and support your local news if you can. Mike, what is your recommendation?

Michael Calor: I want to recommend an article in the current issue of Harper. It is by the Norwegian writer Karl of Knosjard who, Lauren, I am sure you are tired of me talking. But it is a great article. It is called “the frequent world”. It is Karl of technology. It tells you about the first time he faced a computer, it was 40 years ago. Then he did not pay attention to computers at all and began to disturb him. There is a great quote near the top. “To some extent, the political situation in the world is a duty, something that has no right to stay away from it. Does not something similar to technology should apply, given the impact of information technology?” I love this quote, because it really reaches the center of what we are talking about today. In order to deal with the world, you need to understand how these systems work. He goes to a Greek island to visit the writer James Bridel, because their book Ways to exist It is a really good introduction to intelligence, artificial intelligence and natural intelligence. They talk a lot about artificial intelligence, how it has evolved and how different methods of intelligence have appeared in our lives. It is a really wonderful article on the current situation of technology in our lives.

Lauren Jude: great.

Michael Calor: Yes.

Lauren Jude: It looks much shorter than his books.

Michael Calor: Yes. You can read it in less than an hour.

Lauren Jude: Alllight, looks good for me.

Michael Calor: Thanks for listening to Wadi Gharib.
