Variety’s Power of Women Nashville Honors Five Top Songwriters

Certainly, it is not a secret that women have been historically represented in music and entertainment, and a large part of Variety’s Women’s strength NashvilleIt is a task to highlight the great work of females who bring a lot to the city’s art and trade. In the assembly of the honorees for this year, it soon became clear that the authors of the songs will need their separate category – because what is the city of music without songs?
Like our first four decorations – KELSEA Ballerini, Sherryl Crow, Mickey Guyton and Reba Mceire – 26 CEOs in our influence list, we hope to give two different songwriters every time we present this event to Nashville. Without more confusion, meet our opening strength for women, Nashville song writer:
Jesse Alexander
(Warner Chapheel Music)
Alexander came out of the powerful gate with a great album in 2005, “Honeysockle Sweet”, then it was dropped from its poster the following year. Ironically, it was hard from there in her second work as a successful song writer. In 2009, she got the first 10 songs of the 10 best successes with a co-writer with Miley Cyrus Smash “The Climb”, and by 2012, she got her first country number 1 with “Drink on It” by Black Shelton-where she launched a path that led to her first nomination, and Moughy Joodnone. It has been added to a happy ending: “I usually like to be the girl in the background,” she says.
Jesse Joe Dillon
(Big machine music)
One of the most successful tunes in this era, Delon received six Grammy nominations, including one of the 2025 songwriter for this year, non -classic, for her work with Brande Clark, Megan Moroni, Jelly Roll, Katie Offman, Dan + Shay, Hardy and Lyuri Minnna (and enables you to post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Morgan, Morgans, KELS. The daughter of Nashville Al-Kings-Din Delon, who wrote strikes by George Street, Kenny Chesney and Tobi Keith-her first song was successful but a grammar candidate: the strait “breathing she takes”, participated in writing with her father.

Natalie Hambi
(Judy Williams Songs)
On one Friday in March, Hemby had songs that she had been writing on Mumford & Sons, Jessica Simpson and Lola Kirke albums. “This is very wide, and it is very frankly,” she says. “When I was in high school, I was very friends with everyone, expelled between groups, and I feel that I am still doing it with music. I have a main country now depends on Parker McCallum, and this year I was writing with John Batist. She had eight individual songs for the first country, including hot lines with Miranda Lambert and Little Beige Town.” But my most popular song is not always songs. Small.

(Big loud)
ATIA “Ink” worked with Beyonce (“” “” “” “” “” “” “” “” Cowboy Carter “and” Al -Nahda “), and Kindrik Lamar, artists, artists, artists, artists, and artists, earlier this week. “Rural music, for me, is more than a feeling,” she says. “Sometimes, it seems to be a great hug in the family reunification. It is all about telling stories and for me, it’s not time to fit a square-it’s time to break the template.”
Steve Jones
(Tank modes)
Looking at the upper levels of pop plans during the past 24 months, there is nearly a largest percentage of artists who worked with veteran song author Jones from those who have never been: 10 -year cooperation with Sabrina Carpetter (“Espresso”), along with Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, Kelsea Ballerini, Selena Gomez, Myles Smith, on. Missouri’s citizen came in the church, and after a long time in Austin and Los Angeles, she recently returned to the place where she started: the city of music.
