‘We Are Guardians’ review: On-the-ground efforts to save the Amazon

It is easy to forget sometimes that, along with everything else, your mind flourishes the news at the present time, the removal of forests in the Amazon is still a huge crisis of the planet, which quickly reaches a point that does not return regarding our ability to reduce its terrible impact.

Films love superheroes who take their conversation with a large stage exchange. But documentary films flourish over the vulnerable, and when it comes to standing in front of the cutting of trees and illegal mining that flattens the umbrella of the southern papers in South America, the indigenous people have shown more than just screaming against loud leaflets or loud politicians. The active transmission “We are the guardians” from the directors, Edvan Gagagara, Chelsea Green and Rob Groupman, is the latest advantage of calling to bring cameras to the Amazon to beauty and destruction – as well as the Battle of David versus Golot as it is experienced on the ground.

We meet the gentle family man, from the original lands of Ariniboya, which was the unpaid, unpaid forest forests group, unpaid, arms and reading, taking the battle directly to dirt records, wherever they can infiltrate them, in great danger to their lives. (Their opponents are also armed)

Meanwhile, activist Bayer Timby of Alto Rio Gawama is working hard to get more indigenous women in politics and in power seats-which is tall simultaneously (it was often photographed between 2019 and 2022) when he treated the Brazilian President in support of tampering. As it explains Tembé, it is necessary to reshape the mind and heart to stimulate progress.

Certainly, these dedicated warriors earn our admiration in the good/villain -wicked duo, but complications help in giving the documentary, as is the case with interest in view of a cortical registrar called Valdir, who agreed to appear on the camera. Registered for more than 50 years since he was 8 years old, and he knows exactly what is wrong with his job, but he is trapped in Mao in industry as a way to survive his family. Even the owner of the wealthy lands can explode like the victim here, as with Tadeu, a businessman in the 1990s, an environmental haven for 28,000 hectares, and his complaints to the Brazilian government about the illegal infringement on his land on wool ears.

There is a comprehensiveness of how “we are guardians” on a big and complex problem represented in the environment, politics, geography, and international after local-with the highlight of the original payment efforts. But Verité’s style of the film in the image of the mini image does not always correspond to other elements: emptying facts, get these drones and fall into an atmosphere similar to excitement. It comes in the wake of the aesthetic and overwhelming acute “Region” Two years ago (which covers some of the same land), it seems that “we are guardians” are similar to highlighting the issues more than one documentary journey that takes you somewhere.

But sometimes, everything comes out of the message, right? When it comes to climate change, our media diet comes out. So if you need this training course in the importance of saving the Amazon, “we are guardians”, like a well -made booklet, they do the task with a lot of efficiency and heat.
