the NBA Wednesday night’s game has been postponed New Orleans between Milwaukee Bucks And the Pelicans after A A historic winter storm dumped a foot of snow on the Big Easy.
Tuesday’s winter storm made road travel dangerous in a subtropical city with minimal snow removal equipment.
The Milwaukee Bucks beat the weather by flying in on Monday, a day earlier than usual, if road conditions became safe enough to hold the game at the 18,000-seat Smoothie King Center.
But temperatures remained in the 30s on Wednesday, authorities closed several major highways in metro areas, and surface roads throughout the city remained covered in ice.
Schools and businesses across the region also remained closed on Wednesday.
