The Gulf of Mexico was renamed to the Gulf of America on Google Maps in the United States.
This comes after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to rename the United States, Cuba and Mexico. This means that US government agencies had to change them, but other countries and companies had to follow their example. Why did Google switch?
