Google Maps Now it appears “The Gulf of America” instead of “Mexico Bay” for the web users and mobile phone in the United States. However, we found that Google’s Waze displays both names if you search for the “Gulf of Mexico”, but finds nothing when searching for the “Gulf of America”.
