Anyma Announces Final Four Residency Dates at Las Vegas’ Sphere

Anyma has announced four additional final shows to his “The End of Genesys” residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.

Matteo Milleri, who launched his company Anima The project will start in 2021, and will return to the venue on February 27 and 28 and March 1 and 2. He organized the first round of his eight-night residency at Sphere, starting December 27th and continuing through January 11th.

In his initial shows, which sold 130,000 tickets in a 20,000-capacity hall, Melleri mixed concert, concept and cinema with a show that matched the music from his two “Genesys” albums with cutting-edge visuals. He performed atop a custom-made replica of a quantum computer surrounded by robotic arms as he played the cello on two side-by-side glass columns, bringing in guests including FKA Twigs, Ellie Goulding, Empire of the Sun and Grimes.

“I started this project mainly to explore possibilities beyond the physical.” Melleri said diverse Before domain offers. “But I never thought of it being breakaway, like in VR. It was more about extended reality. It wasn’t even supposed to tour at first. It was supposed to be digital art and music in extended reality. Tickets for the final four shows will go on sale January 30 at 9 a.m. PT, with $5 from every ticket sold going to the SoCal Fire Fund and the California Fire Foundation to help with fire relief in the Los Angeles area.
