Israeli Columbia professor wants Trump to block certain institutions from receiving federal funding
Universities and colleges across the United States have seen an increase Anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activity Since the brutal Hamas attacks on October 7. Anti-Israel agitators organized massive protests, disrupted courses and events, and set up camps. However, it is not only the students involved, it is also the faculty.
The Columbia Business School associate professor is calling on President Donald Trump to issue an executive order to stop institutions that employ professors who support terrorist organizations designed in the United States from receiving federal funds.
In a repost from the account documenting Jewish hatred on Columbia’s campus, Davidi urged Trump to act.
“I believe it is time for the President to sign a very simple executive order: No federal funds for private institutions that employ professors who support terrorist organizations designed in the United States,” Davidi wrote.

Davidi believes Columbia is violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and “should not receive federal funding” based on the hiring and promotion of faculty members who support the terrorist group.

Despite the change in university leadership, anti-Israel agitators remain active on campus.
Last week, anti-Israel agitators disrupted a course called The Modern History of Israel, which was taught by Avi Shilon, a visiting professor from the Academic College of Israel. Tel Hai faced the threat of Hezbollah attacks due to its location near Israel’s northern border.
“Just like Hezbollah wouldn’t let him teach his class in Israel, Hezbollah supporters here in New York City just walked into his class and he wouldn’t let him teach,” Davidi said.

Colombia did not respond to a request for comment. However, after the incident, interim president Katrina Armstrong Issue a statement.
“Today, a History of Modern Israel class was disrupted by protesters who handed out flyers. We strongly condemn this disruption, as well as the flyers that included violent images that are unacceptable on our campus and in our community. Another group of students disrupting a classroom at Columbia.
“We will move quickly to investigate and address this act. We want to be absolutely clear that any act of anti-Semitism, or any other form of discrimination, harassment or intimidation against members of our community is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.”
