About five months in his second term, Donald Trump It has announced a new comprehensive travel ban that can significantly reshape US borders from any modern memory policy. This, which prohibits citizens from 12 countries, will enter into force at 12 am in the morning in the morning in a move that Trump said will protect the country from “foreign terrorists”.
The advertisement represents one of the most ambitious attempts to reshape the US approach to global movement in modern history and may affect millions of people coming to the United States to move, travel, work or school.

Banning his travel advertisementIt was signed on June 4, referring to the previous executive order, as well as the recent attack by an Egyptian citizen in Buldir, Colorado, on a group of people who appear to release the Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Contrary to the executive order, a directive of the heads of agencies in the administration, the advertisement refers primarily a widespread change in politics.

Myanmar
-
Chad
-
Republic of the Congo
-
Equatorial Guinea

-
Yemen
Trump also partially restricts travel from:
-

Loser
-
Sierra Leone
-
Togo
-
Turkmenistan
-
Venezuela
Why were these countries chosen?
The advertisement is widely cited by national security issues to include the two countries, but it defines some different issues that reach the level of interest in the travel ban.
For some countries, such as Afghanistan, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Libya and Venezuela, the announcement claims that there is no reliable central authority to issue passports or examination and citizens walk outside the country.
For other countries, such as Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Burundi, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo and Turkmenistan, the announcement is martyred at a high rate of immigrants who exceed their business in their field of business, tourism and student tourists in the United States.
Finally, there are many countries that are included due to the terrorist activity or terrorism sponsored by the state, including Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia and Cuba.
In the draft travel ban project that was leaked in March, the original list contained 43 countries across three levels of restrictions. The ban is now liquidated into 19 countries.
Among the perplexing inclusion is Venezuela, which the White House says it lacks the authorities eligible to issue documents. Trump has recently followed a melting in relations with the country that has proven to be beneficial for his deportation initiatives – although the country’s inclusion is probably linked to Veneeros in the United States who were a clear goal for the White House.
How does this travel ban different from the ban in 2017?
Initially, the ban on 2017 targeted seven Muslim countries before expanding to include North Korea and Venezuela. This new announcement is broader and makes the noticeable addition to Hyty.
During his 2024 campaign for the presidency, Trump exaggerated the wrong allegations made by his colleague, JD Vance, that the Haiti immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were “eating pets from people who live there.” The advertisement falsely claims that “hundreds of thousands of illegal trendy foreigners who were immersed in the United States during the Biden administration” and this “flow harm American societies.” In fact, about 200,000 Haiti has been granted a protected temporary situation, which provides legal residency permits for foreign citizens who cannot return home safely due to the circumstances in their countries of origin.
It is worth noting that the restrictions imposed on the Afghans, given that many Afghans who agreed to live in the United States, where the refugees were forced to flee from their homeland as a result of working to support the American forces there, before the full clouds of American forces were negotiated in 2021. The agreement was negotiated with the Taliban to withdraw American forces during his first term.
Last month, Minister of Internal Security, Christie Nom, Declare “End the temporary protected situation of Afghanistan”, May 20.
The restrictions will be reviewed every 180 days for a possible modification.
How will the visa holders be affected?
Current visa holders remain largely protected: restrictions apply only to people outside the United States without valid visas starting from June 9. The White House said that existing visas will not be canceled.
However, new visa requests from people from these countries will be suspended or severely limited, with some exceptions for diplomatic visas, the direct family members and issues involved in a national interest – one of the examples of this is 2026 World Cup and 2028 Olympics.
For employers, the prohibition threatens significant disturbances in the workforce in the sectors of technology, health care and education, with companies unable to employ 12 countries targeted by a complete ban. For the seven countries related to a partial ban, employers can still rent some work visas but cannot take care of green cards, and the visas will have reduced the periods.
